Lessons From Harvard Kennedy School chronicles the travels and experiences of Yoichiro Ikeda. While on exchange for two years, Ikeda enrolled in a class that propelled him into the world of social reform. Upon graduating, he traveled around the world volunteering. Ikeda helped the victims of Hurricane Katrina, researched microfinance systems in India and participated in many areas of social work. All the knowledge and experienced during these travels he documented in an online blog, which quickly became one of the most popular in Japan.
